I’ve been a musician since the age of 10, beginning with the saxophone and continuing through college. In 2013, I stepped into music production and soon after began my journey as a DJ, spinning on college campuses, in clubs, and on the radio with my own show.

Hosting over 125 mixtapes, Lake Woods, formerly known as DJ LakeGang, has always centered the unheard. My work has consistently amplified emerging artists, particularly those from rural communities, helping them gain visibility and momentum in spaces where they are often overlooked. I have won multiple awards for Best Female DJ and made history as the first woman from Mississippi to win a Southern Entertainment Award for DJing.
